Rudraprayag is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River, situated in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. It is the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. The town is named after Lord Shiva (Rudra), and is considered a sacred place for Hindus. It serves as a gateway to the famous Kedarnath and Badrinath temples.
