Hemkund Sahib
Hemkund Sahib is a revered Sikh pilgrimage site located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. Nestled at an altitude of 4,632 meters above sea level, it is surrounded by seven snow-capped mountains and a glacial lake known as Hemkund. The site is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, and is mentioned in his autobiographical poem, the 'Bachitra Natak'.
