Chorabari Lake
Chorabari Lake, also known as Gandhi Sarovar, is a serene high-altitude lake located near Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. It is a glacial lake formed by the melting of the Chorabari Bamak glacier. The lake is situated at an elevation of about 3,900 meters above sea level and is surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks. It holds religious significance as it is believed that Lord Shiva imparted the knowledge of yoga to the Saptarishis here. The lake is a popular trekking destination and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
