Adalaj Step Well, also known as Adalaj ni Vav, is a magnificent example of Indian architecture and craftsmanship. Located in the village of Adalaj, near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, this step well was built in 1499 by Queen Rudabai. It served as a resting place for travelers and locals, providing water and shelter from the heat. The step well is five stories deep and is adorned with intricate carvings depicting various themes from Hindu mythology.
