Koundinya Wildlife Sanctuary is a unique elephant reserve located in the Chittoor and Kadapa districts of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the only sanctuary in Andhra Pradesh with a population of Asian elephants, which migrated from neighboring states. The sanctuary is named after the sage Koundinya and spans over 357 square kilometers of lush forests, hills, and valleys, offering a serene escape into nature.
